人脑是图像/视频内容的最终判定者,随着脑科学技术的飞速发展,可以利用非侵入的磁共振功能成像手段获取大脑在观看多媒体时的反应,这种反应包含大脑的语义层理解信息。“脑神经媒体组学”是一个新的研究方向,利用机器学习理论为手段,实现大脑反应信息对多媒体视听觉特征的指导、优化和融合,达到计算机对于多媒体内容实现接近人脑认知的目的。同时,此研究也探索大脑在多媒体刺激下的工作机制。本报告将汇报“脑神经媒体组学”研究中的一些关键技术及最新进展。

 

讲座人简介

韩军伟,西北工业大学教授,自动化学院副院长,信息融合技术教育部重点实验室副主任,国家优秀青年科学基金获得者、欧盟玛丽居里学者。主要研究方向是多媒体信息处理和脑成像分析。已在领域顶级期刊如:Proceedings of the IEEEIEEE TPAMI, IJCV, NeuroImage, Cerebral Cortex等发表学术论文50余篇,在领域顶级的国际会议如:CVPRICCVACM MultimediaMICCAIIPMI, IJCAI等发表学术论文30余篇。获得国际会议ACM Multimedia 2010MICCAI 2011ICME 2016最佳学生论文奖提名。担任IEEE Trans. on Human-Machine Systems, Neurocomputing8个国际期刊编委/客座编委。

About the Lecture:

The human brain which is the final judgment of image / video content, along with the rapid development of science and technology, can use the non functional magnetic resonance imaging of the brain in response to obtain intrusive means watching multimedia. The semantic understanding of the brain contains this response information. "Brain media group" is a new research direction, using machine learning theory as a means to realize the brain response information of multimedia audio-visual feature guidance, optimization and integration, to achieve the computer for multimedia content to achieve the purpose of human cognitive approach. At the same time, this study also explores the work mechanism of the brain under multimedia stimuli. This report will introduce some key techniques and recent advances in the field of brain nerve media research.

 

Profile of the Lecturer:

Junwei Han  obtained the BS, MS, and Ph.D degrees from Northwestern Polytechnical University. He has worked in Nanyang Technological University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Dublin City University, and University of Dundee. He also worked in Microsoft Research Aisa and University of Surrey as a visiting researcher. From 2010, he has been working in Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, as a full professor. He has published more than 60 papers in international journals including more than 40 IEEE Transacitons papers and more than 30 papers in top conference papers, for example, CVPR, ICCV,ACM MM, IJCAI, AAAI, MICCAI, IPMI. His publications have been cited more than 2500 times by international researchers. Three of his papers were nominated as the best student paper award in ACM Multimedia 2010, the Young Scientist Award in MICCAI 2011, and best student paper award in ICME 2016, respectively. He received EU Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowships. He is currently an associate editor for five international journals: IEEE Trans. on Human-Machine Systems, Neurocomputing, Multidimensional Systems and Signal Processing (Springer), Machine Vision and Applications, and JSM Biomedical Imaging Data Papers.
